Comas is a district located in the province of Lima, created in 1961. Before this, it was a zone where many
landowners lived and where the exploitation of slaves and farmes continued even after the Independency. This happened because the landowners had helped Simón Bolívar during the campaign, which is why he allowed them to keep their properties, status and, therefore, the social pyramid.
Things to do in Comas
- Remember to visit the park Sinchi Roca during your days in Comas. It is the perfect place to enjoy with the family because it has a minizoo, areas for soccer and basketball, pools, picnic zone and a food court, among others.
- Another area you can visit is the Fortaleza de Collique, located in the Cerro Pirámide. It is divided in 6 sections: a public section, a residential section, a ceremonial section, a military / defense section, a central section (with a Main Square) and a cementery section.

You can visit Comas in any month of the year, but we advised you to buy your tickets to reach it between November and March. After the winter season, during these months you will enjoy the sun and a better climate.
