CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

GENERALITIES

  1. The request for the cancellation of the tickets, purchased through our website, will only be received up to 24 hours before the departure of the bus. The refund is subject to the fulfillment of the indicated conditions and to the acceptance of the order by our customer service center. The request for reimbursement must be sent by our website in the Web Cancellation option. The refund request sent will be evaluated, before being confirmed or rejected via email.
  2. The refund will be accepted to the buyer of the tickets, only when all the tickets of the purchase are canceled. There is no exception for partial cancellations within the same purchase.
  3. Tickets purchased through our web, app or mobile web, are subject to the penalties provided.
  4. Some transport companies, by their own policy, do not accept cancellations and only allow delays (requested by the customer in person). You can not cancel the tickets of these transport companies, as they do not allow redBus to cancel your tickets.
  5. Some transport companies, by their own policy, only allow a cancellation with a maximum period of 7 days after the purchase. You can not cancel the tickets of these transport companies, because they do not allow redBus to cancel your tickets when the period of 7 days after the purchase is exceeded.
  6. The cancellation does not apply to tickets that have been exchanged at the transportation company. In this case, the cancellation of the trip and the return must be coordinated directly with the transport company.
  7. In the case of a user who purchases with Cash Payment or other means of payment in cash, the return will be made by a transfer or deposit to the bank account of the owner of the purchase.
  8. The buyer is the only one authorized to request and receive reimbursement. The time of the return will be between 3 and 20 business days.
  9. redBus will not be responsible in the case of the cancellation / modification of a bus service by the transport company. The client must communicate directly with the transport company to manage the change or the return of their ticket.
  10. In the case of modifications or postponements of the ticket, the client must communicate directly with the transport company. The applications are subject to the policies of the companies. redBus does not make modifications and / or postponements.
  11. For tickets purchased with the PeruBus transportation company, a penalty of 15% of the value of the ticket is always applied; You can only request the cancellation of the same up to 24 hours before the departure of the bus, taking into account the hours of service for the cancellation requests of redBus.
