About San Ramon
San Ramon is one of the six districts that form the Chanchamayo’s province, located in the department of Junin. By the north limits with the district of Chanchamayo, by the south limits with the province of Tarma and with the district of Vitoc, by the east limits with the district of Chanchamayo, and by the west limits with the province of Tarma. The district of San Ramon was founded in 1908 by the Congress and by the president of Peru, Augusto B. Leguia. San Ramon is one of the most prosperous districts of Chanchamayo, that’s why it is called “the golden gate of the central jungle”.
