About Laguna De Parón
The Paron lagoon is a very famous natural destination of the department of Ancash. It is located very close to Caraz, in the protected area of Huascarán National Park. It is famous due to its crystal clear water and is 73 meters deep. Of all the lagoons that exist in this mountain range, Parón is described as the largest and with the best view (since from here you can see the snow mountains of Pisco, Paria, Pyramid, among others).

● Laguna Parón by bus: The only direct routs to the Parón lagoon are from Huaraz. For instance, you have to go from your origin point to the city of Huaraz and take a second bus from here to the lagoon.
● Laguna Parón by train: There is currently no direct route to Laguna Parón, so going to Laguna Parón by train is not yet possible.
● Laguna Parón by plane: It is still not possible to go by plane to the Parón lagoon, but you can take a flight to the city of Huaraz thanks to the Alféres FAP David Figueroa Fernandini Airport, and take a bus from here to the Parón lagoon.
